Bridge Fire
Yesterday
evening, a fire broke out on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge due to a portable
generator beneath the bridge. This held
up traffic lanes to the west side of the bridge. Shortly after six P.M. fire officials were
able to put out the flames. No injuries were announced but the bridge is still
being checked for other safety issues.
